I don't have much hair left on my head... that's a fact! However, I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! As a basic and translational scientist I am personally involved in the research for cure! Many of my colleagues (you will find some of them on this wonderful team) are either directly treating children with neurological cancers or, as myself, are involved in basic and clinical research for the cause for these tumors and how to better target and eliminate them. FACT! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now, I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. This year, I am honoring Cassidy E.
