I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. I have read lots of stories about kids with cancer, and they have all touched my heart. I am the mother of 3 and the grandmother of 4. I've been very blessed and lucky that none of them have been touched by cancer. I also know that could change at any time. It would be wonderful if we could find a cure for childhood cancers in my lifetime. I have been through a cancer diagnosis myself, and was very fortunate that it was caught early enough to be cured with surgery. No chemo, no radiation, no hair loss. I can't imagine what these children who aren't so fortunate have to go through, so if my being a shavee helps me, and my family, understand a tiny bit, then it's all worth it. Please join me in this endeavor.
