I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Lindsey

Hi everyone, my name is Malek Mostafa and I am in 8th grade at Westmont Jr. High. This is my fourth year raising money for St. Baldrick's. This year raising money for St. Baldrick's is very personal to me and I am raising the money for a few reasons: First, for my uncle who has Stage 4 Colon Cancer that has spread to his bladder and bones (yes, this is first because perhaps if they find a cure for childhood cancer, fewer adults would have cancer); second for a friend of mine who lost his 5-year old sister to cancer; and third, because I want to show my support and help raise money for this deadly disease.

Last year with the help of friends and family, I was able to raise over $4,000 and I thank all of you for your support. I hope that you will support me again this year with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Every dollar counts and I am not asking for a large donation because whatever you donate will bring me closer to my goal. I hope that whatever money I raise will help find a cure for this deadly disease. As I have said in the past, you never know what you have until it is taken from you. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.

Thank you!
