I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
In the last couple of years I have discovered some extended family and am thrilled to have more family out there. I have met a few and some I have not. My cousin, Kelsey Julia Schiefen, was 19 when she recently lost her 10 year battle with Ewings Sarcoma. Although I had not had the pleasure of meeting her, I did get to meet her sister Carli, father John and grandparents John Sr. and Sandy. Wonderful people all. I have read much about what a wonderful young lady Kelsey was and her battle and how graciously she endured. I will have my head shaved this year in honor of her journey.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
