I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Yonkers PBA
I'm shaving my head for the cause. My father lost his battle with cancer a little over 6 months ago. Shortly after he was diagnosed and had begun his chemo and radiation treatment, he accompanied me to my very first St. Baldrick's event as a member of the YPD 2012 in his extremely weakened condition. I told him he didn't have to go if he didn't want to but he insisted in shaving his head for St Baldricks. He wore his free t-shirt proudly to his next cancer treatment and told all the nurses about the event. My dad was a big supporter of this cause and I ask for your donation to help the fight!
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
