I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: CDLE

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: CDLE

Friends and Family - So often we only partake in an activity when it's closely related to something we've experienced personally. Understandably, we blame that on our own human nature. Well, I'm not waiting for cancer to hit so close to home before becoming involved! As most of you know, my family dealt with my daughter being extremely sick about eight years ago. I saw my daughter overcome so much during this time! As horrible as it was watching Ahnya be forced to overcome this ordeal, I can't imagine what children with cancer suffer through. Often, their diagnoses are far worse than my daughter's. Well, on that note, I'm trying to improve on the chances that children with cancer have to live through their ordeal. I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. If you simply can't donate money this year, please support me by forwarding this message to your friends. In addition, please consider spreading the positives this organization stands for by hosting an event or simply shaving your head in the future. Thank you so much for helping conquer kids' cancer!
