I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team UCSF

As many of you know, I take care of children with cancer and do research to try to find better treatments. While many children with cancer do well, some do not, and better, less toxic therapies are needed. Research is expensive and foundations like St Baldrick's raise money and provide essential grants to research labs like mine. In honor of all of the children with cancer that we treat, I am volunteering to have my head shaved on November 16th in the hopes of raising A LOT of money for this very worthy cause.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
