My Story

On January 27, 2010, shortly after her second birthday, a large Pilomyxoid Astrocytoma was discovered in Emily's cerebellum. This devastating news launched our family into the terrifying world of cancer, yet today Emily is happy, healthy and OFF treatment, with several stable scans under her belt! She a bright, feisty, and loving little kid whose laughter is infectious. Emily enjoys playing with her little sister, going to school, tearing up the local playgrounds, and generally outsmarting her parents at every turn. Her resiliency and sense of humor are an inspiration to those who know and love her. We had an amazing event last year, raising more than $128,000 toward pediatric cancer research. Please help us make this year just as successful by supporting Emily as she shaves her Dada's head!
