I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Just recently my family and I received news that the doctors found cancer on my uncles lung and vocal cord. He just finished his Chemo and radiation and we are now waiting to find out if it is cleared up and where we go next. He is the toughest man I know and it kills me to know he is going through so much. Although this situation has been tough it also has inspired me to want to do more. I see what my Uncle is going through and it hurts my heart even more to know there is children out there going through the same thing he is. I know I can't take my uncles or these children's pain away but I know what I can do. I have decided to shave my head on March 16, 2014. This is one of the biggest things I will ever do in my lifetime and I already feel like I have inspired people. My goal started out to be only $500.00 and I surpassed that with in an hour. So please support me, support these strong wonderful children, and help me inspire people!
I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
