I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Look at all that long, flowing hair I've got. But you know what? Hair is just hair. It doesn't define us, it doesn't improve us, it's just some dead stuff we hairspray, straighten, blow-dry, or (in my case) air dry. I thought first about donating it to make a wig for someone fighting cancer. Then some friends mentioned this organization, and I thought raising money for cancer research was a way better idea. I'm choosing to use my hair (which I change often anyway) as a catalyst for fundraising. If that's an idea you can get behind, donate. Some delightful folks have already donated, and more than doubled my original goal. Think that's going to stop me from asking for more? Think again, marshmallows! DO IT.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.

Thanks!
