I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I am blessed to be a cancer survivor and have recently wondered how I can give back to those in need. This seems like a fitting option for me. My first round of cancer I went through chemotherapy and was blad. It was actually rather fun, playing with wigs and hats. But this time it will be bald with more meaning behind it. Helping to support the work to find a cure for childhood cancers. Helping families with transportation and other needs. My hair is just a protien strand, helping a child with cancer is woth more to me than a protien strand. If you want to help this event reach it's goal, please give. If you want to come and watch me get shaved, you can do that too. Either way someone, somewhere will smile.
