In 2009 my youngest daughter, Sammy, was diagnosed with a blood cancer, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. After 2 1/2 years of treatment and ongoing monitoring, she is cancer free and thriving! SHE IS ALIVE TODAY BECAUSE OF RESEARCH! And yet her treatments were harsh and will cause long term effects. The research we fund today will create even better treatments in the future. I look forward to the day when parents can be told that their child has cancer and that there is a safe cure....for every child. I am inspired to give back by being a part of St. Baldrick's and spreading the message of how important it is to fund childhood cancer research.
I believe all people have at least this in common....everyone wants to make a difference somehow in their life. Please join me in making a difference! If everyone I knew donated just $5 think what a difference that would make!
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
