I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Aside from our beautiful granddaughter Emily Briggs just having had a bone marrow transplant for Aplastic Anemia where she first donated 10 inches of her hair before losing it to chemotherapy, I am fighting LMS,Leiomyosarcoma. I will be starting chemo treatments this week and will lose my hair. What better way to lose it than to donate it to St. Baldrick's and help a child in need. This is why I am choosing to shave my head. Please donate any amount you can for this very worthy cause. If you want to come see me "get bald", the event will be in Port Jefferson on Sat Ap.13th, venue to be announced. Join me for a tear and a smile. Love you, my friends! I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
