I've had long hair ever since elementary school and I've told myself I would donate for years but never had the guts to do so. Several years ago, someone close to me suffered from cancer and thankfully fully recovered, but after witnessing that sort of pain, I could never imagine how hard things must get for these children at times, both physically and socially. So I'm donating my hair to Locks of Love so a child who is lacking it can't afford a hair piece can have a little more social acceptance and a little more happiness in their life. But I also wanted to help in research for childhood cancer treatments which is where the St. Baldrick's Foundation comes into play. Every child deserves to live their life to its fullest potential. I believe that our almost carefree years of childhood are some of the happiest years of our lives.
If you or anyone you know would be willing make a money donation that would be amazing, since any amount of money would help and it's for a great cause. I know myself and all the kids with cancer would greatly appreciate your help!
