I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi everyone,

This is my first year being a shavee for St. Baldrick's, and I'll be cutting off 10 inches of my hair for this special event. Cancer has not only taken the lives of two amazing kids in my school district, but it has killed two of my grandparents. I was unable to meet them since stomach cancer took both of their lives when they were still in their 50s. To some of you that might be really old, but if it weren't for cancer my grandparents might have been able to see me be born, and see all of the wonderful things that I have accomplished. When my aunt was 43, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, she survived. Now she is 53, and healthier than ever. So as you can see, cancer has affected my family and I a lot.

I would really appreciate if you could make a donation of any amount to help St. Baldrick's fund the lifesaving research that one day could help cure cancer. To donate you can either press the "Donate" button, or send me the donation. Your support will truly make a difference.

Sincerely,

Hannah Lochan :)
