I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Hello again my very generous friends and family members. This year marks the 6th since I have started shaving my head to raise money for Pediatric Cancer Research with St. Baldrick's and the Carolina Hurricanes and over $40,000 has been raised on my head thanks to all of you.
I started middle school this year and hope to get a bunch of my Cary Academy friends to either join me in shaving this year or donate to my head and keep their flow (hair to the adults) in place.
Please consider coming out to join us at the Canes game on March 19th to witness my shaving and I would really appreciate it if you would consider donating to my head again this year. Once again my Dad says if I can raise over $10,000 (which has happened twice) he will shave his head too!
THANKS so much for all your support! Pediatric cancer is still the second leading cause of death in children but the numbers have been dropping which just proves that research is truly helping to reduce pediatric cancer deaths.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least seven years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
