I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: CHS Staff

Hello,

I want to thank all of you who supported Shane and Chardon High School's St. Baldricks team in 2012! Your support helped us raise money to help fight childhood cancer. Thank you for supporting such a great cause.

My cousin, Shane, was diagnosed in January 2010, with multiple brain tumors (pilo mixoid astrocytoma). Shane left the hospital on his 4th birthday after brain surgery and a three week stay. He has been through chemo and radiation over the last year and has handled treatment well.

This year, I'm having my head shaved, along with the amazing staff and students at Chardon High School. We are shaving our heads, not only for Shane, but for all kids fighting cancer.

If you are interested in donating, please visit: http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/msedlak

The Chardon High School even will take place on March 18, 2013. I will be sure to post and tweet pictures (@mjsedlak) during and after the event. Feel free to check out the Chardon High School's St. Baldrick's page to see how many students and teachers sign up.

I am so proud to be part of Chardon High School NHS in Honor of Shane Haddad and supporting St. Baldrick's.

Thanks,

Michael
