I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

All of you know that my amazing warrior woman sister Kim was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. When she lost her hair to chemo, she told me that she did not want me to shave my head and I agreed. But, now it is 2013, and her hair is back and beautiful! What you may not know, is that I lost my oldest sister to neuroblastoma at age 13 when I was 7. So it is time... in honor of Kim and Kathy, I will be shaving my head! Kim is flying up from Florida to do the honors! These monies go to provide grants, including to my very good friend Stuart Gold's pediatric oncology division at UNC and their patients. Those of you who know me, know that I never ask for donations, however it is for the kids. Please make a donation and come and see me get shaved!
