I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Kings Park Firefighters

This year I am answering the call once again to try and help Conquer Kids Cancer. I am honored and proud to again lead the Kings Park Firefighters Team. This year our Department is celebrating it's 100th Anniversary. We have challenged our neighboring Fire Departments to a "SHAVE OFF" to be held at our Firehouse immediately following the Kings Park St. Patricks Day Parade on March 02, 2013. This will be a sattelite event of the Park Lounge event which will be held on March 24, 2013. Please help support me and the rest of the Kings Park Firefighters team by stepping forward and helping to Conquer Kids Cancer with your tax deductible donation which you can do on line at this website, by phone or at either event sponsored by James Pavese and the Park Lounge. I am looking forward to seeing all of my fellow co-workers, friends and family and I thank you for your support in advance. Let's show our neighboring Fire Departments our true KP Pride.

I am proud to honor and sponsor Connor McKean this year. I work with Connor's dad. We had only found out recently that Connor has been fighting a rare form of cancer called Ependonomas which in children usually develop tumors within the base of the brain. Connor has been valiantly fighting this by first having surgery to remove the tumor and following up with a rigorous regime of radiation therapy. Along with fighting this disease Connor and his family must endure numerous trips every month to the Childrens Cancer Center Hospital in Philadelphia PA.. Please show Connor and all other children like him that we stand behind him by supporting the St. Baldrick's cause to conquer Childrens Cancer.
