I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
This is my second year doing the St Baldrick's. last year while working at Rainbow Babies and Children's Emergency Room I got involved with this awesome event. Myself along with other doctors and staff that work at RBC teamed up and raised money for pediatric cancer research. After the fact I learned that RBC gets funded by St Baldrick's which of course made me want to do this again. Now that I'm no longer working at RBC I still have plenty of friends who work there and now that i am working for Cleveland Heights Fire Department we have a great working relationship with UH and RBC and therefore I'm more than willing to continue with this great event. I've upped the donation goal this year in the hope that I can do my little part. In turn for donating, you get to see me bald. (Good trade right?). As some of you might have seen, I haven't got a "real" haircut since December and normally I get it cut short so as you can imagine its getting long. So I'm going to do the same thing as I did last year, during the St Baldricks event I will get my hair "buzzed" as they cannot do the straight razor shave and after which I'll go home and lather up my dome and take the BIC razor to it and yes pictures to prove it. So I am asking you to donate what you can $10, $20, $50, $100 hey even $500 (if your feeling good or won the lottery). Every little bit will help and thanks!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
