I’M SHAVING MY HEAD!
Yes, you read it right! I am shaving my head on March 15th to raise awareness for childhood cancer. Every year more children are lost to cancer in the U.S. than any other disease. In the 1950s, almost all kids diagnosed with cancer died. Because of research today about 85% of kids with the most common types of cancer will live. But for many other types, progress has been limited, and for some kids there is still little hope for a cure. I want to change that!
So I am reaching out.
I am answering the call to be a hero.
I am raising awareness.
I am raising money.
I am changing lives.
How do I feel about shaving my head?
I am excited….I am so so excited!
What do I think will happen after I shave my head?
I think some people might tell me I am crazy …. I will tell them we are all a little crazy!
I think some people will stare at me … It won’t bother me.
I think most people will be proud of me … I will be proud of me.
What do I hope … I hope some people will be inspired to shave with me next year!
If you would like to support me and all the families affected by childhood cancer please donate.

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
