I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

So NO ONE believed me when I said I was shaving my head but guess what?! I AM!! & more importantly I am doing it to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer. I have thought long and hard about shaving my head and when I decided to do it i said "why not do it for a cause?!" I have a FULL, THICK head of hair. I want to give the opportunity for a child to have hair again even if that means for mine to come off. Being able to raise money for children cancer research means a lot to me. I could not imagine the pain a child and family goes through when experiencing something like this and I want to try to help as best as I can- (even if it means to be bald!) I have even honored a child. Her name is Chelsea N. and she is the cutest little girl ever! She is in remission from Acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Her parents describe her to be "sweet, thoughtful, resilient, tough, smart, the best colorer in the whole world" for a 21 month year old to have these qualities and go through such a terrible thing says a lot about her spirit. Her story touched me so much that it is for her and the rest of the St. Baldricks Foundation children that I am raising money and shaving my head! So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Thank you! (: <3
