I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Young Hearts For Hope

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Young Hearts For Hope

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. For those of you that may be unaware, when my friend and classmate Mikayla was just 5 years old she was diagnosed with a form kidney cancer. Determined to beat the disease, she progressed through her treatments, often ill and eventually losing her long and beautiful hair. The combined determination of Mikayla's doctors, parents Bill and Megan, and herself, she was able to overcome the disease and has since been cancer free.

Mikayla's ongoing commitment to fight the disease has been an inspiration to many of us and I have personally found ways to join the battle against childhood cancer myself. This year, instead of birthday presents I have once again decided to offer my head of hair in support of St Baldrick's in exchange for your donations. I haven't had a haircut since August, and won't until March 15th.
This year is extra special, Mikayla's grandfather nominated me for a Young Philanthropist Award and I won because of my dedication to St Baldricks. I will be receiving this award in May and I am very honored to do so. So please make a donation by clicking the "Make A Donation" button or by calling 888.899.BALD
Thank you for your support!
