I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello Friends!
As many of you know, I work at Advocate Children's Hospital in the Cardiac ICU. However, I am a pediatric nurse today because of the time I spent on the Oncology Unit at Advocate Children's. As a nursing student, I was lucky enough to have spent two semesters there, learning and working with some of the most incredible patients I have encountered. It is because of their spirit and the amazing work that those nurses, PCAs, doctors, etc. do on a regular basis that inspired me to participate in St. Balrick's this year! I've been considering this for a while, but I have gathered the nerve to shave my head in solidarity with the children who fight and who have fought cancer, and to raise money for research grants. Please support me in any way you can (Even if it means just coming to watch me shave it off!). Thanks everyone!
Thank you,
Tracey

About St. Balrick's:
This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. You're also more than welcome to come see it happen! Thanks for your support!!!
