I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Bald Patriots

Nine months ago I received a call that brought me to my knees. My best friend of over 20 years had received the news that no parent ever wants to hear, her 15 month old son had been diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma. She, her amazing husband, both of her boys, her family and her friends began the process of fighting for precious M. Those of us far away can only lend an ear, a prayer, a comforting word as her family battles this in CA. M just turned 2 and is getting ready for the next phase of his fight. Her older son, A, has been amazing as his world has also been flipped as they go to countless doctors appointments and hospital visits. The event at The Factory happens to fall on the one year anniversary of this diagnosis. I can't do much to help, but I can shave my head in solidarity with this most precious and brave little boy, who charms the nurses and hospital staff. Please help me by donating to this amazing cause and to children like M who deserve our help and the chance for a cure. I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
