I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
So a little about myself. My name is Kelsey Holloway, I am from Shelton, Washington, and this is my freshman year at BSU. Back home I have participated in different events to help raise money for people within our community with cancer. The biggest event that I participate in is called "The Martha Reed Tournament." It is a huge softball tournament where the local fire departments, sheriffs, the hospital, private ambulance companies, and others participate. We have "Cuss Bucket," raffle, entry fee, and "Re-Do's" that helps pay for the event and the rest goes to the community member that we were sponcering. Everyone that we have helped in our community has greatly appreciated every little bit. Events like this helps everyone connect in the community.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
