I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. I started this 5 years ago because I needed a haircut. Today I am doing this because its not about my hair, it's about the money we are raising to help chrildren to be able to grow up to get their own haircuts. In 2012 56,249 shavees raised $33,508,625 at 1308 events. This year there are already 8409 participants currently raising money. Just image what the end of the year can bring! I have chosen to honor 3 children from the Pittsburgh ares. All have been or are being treated at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital. In the last 5 years Pittsburgh Children's Hospital has received 6 grants for research into childhood cancer. Help me make a difference to these children I have chosen to honor and every child effected can grow up to lead productive wonderful lives. Without your support I could not have rasied almost $10,000 dollars for this great organization. Thanks, Love Bobbie!
