I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Many of us know the hopelessness which can stem from the presence of cancer in our lives. We know the pain of losing people dear to us from this awful disease. However, we are not powerless to fight it.
As a participant in BGSU’s December St. Baldrick’s fundraiser, I am setting a fundraising goal of $250. By doing this, I am making the commitment to shave my head on December 2nd to stand in solidarity with children who often lose their hair during the process of fighting their cancer.
Yep. You heard right. I’m planning to shave my head in December. But I need your help to make this happen. I am asking you to please donate to this worthy cause. Each cent that you donate will be used to try to find cures for the cancers that plague these young lives. Please join me in supporting these infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Thank you so much for your support.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
