I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Upper Primary

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Upper Primary

Why am I having my head shaved? Because I am trying to do something about cancer after what happened to Kevin. Kevin was in my trumpet class. When my mom told me Kevin had cancer, I felt worried for him. So now here I am, trying to raise 500 US or more dollars. My mom says that every dollar donated counts, and it doesn't matter if someone raises more money than me. I hope everybody who donates to me or buys something from me at my bake sale gets the message and knows they are doing something right.
I appreciate everybody who contributes to the money I raise. They know it is optional but the still donate. I am thankful I have considerate people donating to me and people who buy my things. If people see me selling cookies and think that is all I am doing, no, I am doing more than that.
When I look at the St. Baldricks homepage, I always see the kids with cancer. The exciting thing to see is that they are still smiling, even after what they've been through. After what happened to Carlo and Kevin, I think HKIS has more spirit in this activity and we will later see smiles on everyone's faces. People think that St. Baldricks is just about shaving you hair, but it is really about raising money.
