I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: S.M.I.L.E. (Students making Impacts through Love & Empathy)

Hi friends! My name is Ashley Kim, and I am a senior at the University of Texas at Austin. I've answered the call to be a hero! I am having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer and to honor my family members who have fought cancer. I am cutting all my hair off to donate and to raise money to help fun research initiatives to find cures! I have had my long hair for almost 3 years now and I want to take a stand in honor of my grandmother and uncle who have fought cancer and to show these kids that bald is BEAUTIFUL! Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation! Any contribution big or small is greatly appreciated by myself and the people that this money will go to support. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Do it for these wonderful children or for your loved ones who have faced cancer! Let's take a stand together and show our support for these children! For those that decide to make a donation, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart!! And I know that these kids will thank you!! Help me reach my goal! Please click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
