I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I'm going to do it! You're gonna see me bald!
I've come a long way since I first started seeing people with bald heads walking around and wondering what the heck was going on. I've had friends who live with cancer and known people who have died with cancer. I wanted to do something about it, but I didn't know what. I wanted to donate to St. Baldricks but was always told that my hair was too short to donate and I was always reluctant to attempt any sort of fundraising (I usually just end up eating the candy I try to sell).
The shaving of the hair is just a symbolic gesture, though. I'll do that, but more importantly, I'll really try to raise money for the foundation. This is the most important fund raiser I've ever done. I ask for your support. Help me help kids with cancer. Thank you!

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
