I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Fire Station 39

Greetings! I've been taking part in this great cause to fight children's cancer for several years now but never really gave it a whole-hearted effort until last year. Thats when by chance I met a wonderful lady by the name of Kim Ferry who was looking to pay back the Fire Department for some assistance we had given to her. She had heard about the upcoming St. Baldrick's event, got onto the website and joined MY team! What luck! She then asked a good friend of hers named Kurt Defilipps, and from there things just took off for us.

This year we have even bigger goals and are asking that you take the time right now to make a donation to this great cause, no matter what amount, whatever you can afford.

I am fortunate to be one of the Station Commanders at Fire Station 39 where we serve the City of Van Nuys. We lay it on the line each and every day to save a life of someone we don't know but would gladly pay the ultimate sacrifice if needed. I am asking that you please help support the St. Baldrick's fund raising event by making a donation. Help us continue to save the lives of children affected by cancer by donating to our team. We choose to shave our heads in solidarity, but our hair will grow back. There are a lot of children out there right now who don't have that option!

Please donate now.

Thank you,

Jesse Cisneros
