I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald is Beautiful

I can't believe I'm doing this. I've had long hair, bad hair but never no hair. And I even have bumps on my head that nobody even knows about. So why would I want to shave it bald? Because I have experienced first hand how brave so many kids that are fighting cancer are, including my son Cole. I am compelled to stand in bald and beautiful solidarity with them. Cole and so many other kids have taught me about humility, courage, and the beauty of bald. We are the lucky ones because when my son was diagnosed, the doctors knew what to do. That's thanks to the research done over decades on the most common forms of childhood cancer, such as Cole's diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. But for many kids with less common forms of cancer, more research is needed to find treatments to give them a fighting chance. I humbly ask you to help us honor childhood cancer patients and contribute to research that may one day be the miracle that we've been blessed with for a kid you know and love.
