I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Hope

UPDATE ON 3/11/12 We are almost at our stated goal, but we hope now to pass it. The RMS family kicked it in to gear last week. We excessed last week's challenge $1,000 goal (maybe upwards of $1,600). I am getting ready for Friday and feeling very excited. Thank you so much to all who are supporting us in a variety of ways. :) UPDATE ON 3/2/12- Team Hope has now raised the $775 through wonderful online donations. We also have $900 more coming next week due to the concessions fundraiser Larsen was generously awarded at school. Next week at RMS, we have a new fundraiser that will work sort of like a dare for teachers (Shane and Justin) and the assistant principal (Jeff) to 'brave the shave" at school if we raise up to $1,000 in 5 days. I am humbled by the generosity as well as the support Team Hope has gotten from our community. Thanks to all who are in this fight with us.

I've answered the call to be a member of Team Hope! I'm having my head shaved on my daughter Larsen's team to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Larsen's team- Team Hope's page is: http://www.stbaldricks.org/teams/mypage/73251/2012
