I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

For those of you who don't know, this will be the 11th year that I will be shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research. As you can tell from this photo, I've let my hair grow a bit, in order to make this year's event a more dramatic statement. I am proud to say that the money we have raised and donated through the St. Baldrick's Foundation has given many of the children afflicted with this terrible disease a better chance for a long and healthy life. But we are not done yet . . . as they still lose the battle one out of five times. Our scientists and doctors whom we support through St. Baldrick's have made tremendous strides. It was not long ago that our winning percentage was less than 50%. I'd like to see this disease thought of as we dot he common cold at some point.

With your support, our scientists around the world are closing the gap and winning the war.

OK - here's the pitch . . . I need your money, and I am not ashamed to ask. I don't expect everyone to donate what Donna and I will, but I hope you'll dig deep into your checkbook for this wonderful cause to fight this horrible enemy.

Remember the St. Baldrick's Foundation was started by a bunch of guys in the insurance industry, and has grown into the world's fastest growing volunteer-driven fundraising opportunity benefiting childhood cancer research, and today funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
