I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I would never have believed it. I was never much for charity until I discovered St. Baldrick's. And what a worthy cause it is. I shave my head because I want to show that I care. I shave my head because I don't need the hair- it's what's in my heart that matters. I shave my head because kids don't want to be different, kids don't want to stand out. So if they're going through troubled times, the least I can do is show them that they're not alone. We are all pitching in to solve a problem. I've set my goal a little lower this year. But my message to everyone is- our lives and our world may seem desperate. But whatever trials and tribulations we may be going through, it pales in comparison to having cancer. Let the kids of our world know that there is a future for them.
