I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Beacon Federal

I've decided to join the Beacon Federal St. Baldrick's team this year in honor of my nephew Aiden. Aiden has been battling Stage 4 Wilms cancer since age 5. Instead of being outside playing with friends, imagine spending the better part of your childhood being sick, receiving chemotherapy, going on frequent hospital visits, and the toll that would take on your family. Aiden just turned 8, and for the first time in his young life, was found to be in remission. I can’t explain how this news has impacted our family, it’s nothing short of a miracle. Aiden has made it this far because of his amazing strength, and also because of the generosity of others. The tools that we have to fight cancer exist because of those who have been willing to donate to medical research. Organizations like St. Baldrick's play an integral part in the battle against childhood cancer. In two weeks I’ll be shaving my head, along with James, Jason, Tim and Andrew. All of the donations we are able to raise will go to St. Baldrick’s on behalf of our team Beacon Federal. No matter how much you donate, you will be making a real difference in the lives of families who are struggling to beat childhood cancer. My family would like to thank those who have donated to St. Baldrick's in the past, and those who are so generous to give again. Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
