After much prayer and consideration, I have made the decision to join The St. Baldrick’s Foundation in their fight against childhood cancer. Surrendering my hair is incomparable to what the 160,000 children that are diagnosed with cancer every year have to go through. St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than ANY organization, except the U.S. government. The foundation began in March of 2000, and since then, they have raised more than $114 million for children, teens, and young adults with cancer. Your money will go to life-saving research projects and support the doctors who work nights on end to find new treatments, and ultimately a cure. Your donations can give these young kids the healthy life that they deserve. I ask that you give, not to solely help me reach my goal of $5,000, but to give hope to the thousands of children that are fighting the number one disease killer of children in our nation.
