My family is no stranger to cancer. We have a rich family history of it, but nothing comes close to the diagnosis of a child. My niece is 4! It's one of those things in life, you never think it could happen to you....so close to home.
I am so proud of the way Sadie fights! Her poor body goes through so much, but her spirit has never waivered. She is an inspiration and has motivated my family and me to work towards the greater good by supporting causes such as St. Baldrick's.
