******** I wanted to let everyone know that I am sponsoring a very special little lady this year named Olivia Chirco. I work with Olivia's Dad. Olivia is a vibrant, very strong 3 year old with a tremendous amount of strength and courage. On August 4th, 2011 Olivia was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer called Acute Myeloid Leukemia. After more than 6 months of aggressive protocol treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering which included 12 Bone marrow biopsies/spinal taps, 6+ Finger sticks, 3 Temporary lines placed, 5+IV's, 8 rounds of intense Chemotherapy, 22+ Red Blood and Platelet Transfusions, 39+ Shots, 3 Echocardiograms, 4 Chest X Rays, 1 Cat Scans, Oral Med's 3X per day for 6 months and 3 In Patient Hospital stays in addition to endless hours spent at MSK, she has finally completed her treatment. Her extensive medical team Doctors have happily reported that Olivia is in remission and and she is cancer free. She has a long road ahead of her still to come but I am proud to be associated with Olivia during this St. Baldricks event and her courage and determination are an inspiration to all. Best of Luck in your recovery and God Bless You!!!********* Vistit Olivia at her website: (CARINGBRIDGE.ORG ) search OLIVIACHIRCO no space I will be participating in St. Baldrick's for the 3rd year in a row now and I hope to see you all at the big event at the Park Lounge on March 25, 2012.
