The reason I am doing this is because I know first hand how scary cancer can be. I have a very close friend that was diagnosed with cancer and is cancer free. It tore me up inside when I heard the news I never knew how life becomes so temporary when you find out someone close is diagnosed. I will never forget the day I found out and the pain in my heart for her, not knowing how much longer she would live and the fear of missing her. Cancer is a very scary thing and it can be hard to be positive. Let’s bring joy to these kids’ lives and help them enjoy life. Laughing can be very healing in its self. I now know for myself how important it is to support cancer patients.
I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
