Hafa Adai Everyone!
I've heard it rationalized many times: "It's just hair...It'll grow back." Nevertheless, I admire those who have already made the bald, oops I mean 'bold' gesture. Now that I've joined so many others in this great effort, I truly realize the amount of good that can be accomplished here. So I post this message hoping it reaches enough people who are able to help me reach my goal.

Personally, I'm fortunate and forever grateful to say my mother is a cancer survivor. She was diagnosed in 2005 and underwent surgery. Needless to say, it was a time that tested my faith and our strength as a family. Our prayers were answered, as surgery was successful, chemo was not required and follow-ups have shown no signs of the disease. For all the fear that Mom went through, I believe it was her faith and Dad by her side that pulled her through.

These are clearly difficult times and we're all stretching our dollars as best we can. Sandwiches, salads and packed lunches fill our weeks (I can't be the only one!). I'll greatly appreciate any amount you feel you can give to childhood cancer research. Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
Thank You! Si Yuus Maase!
