I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TeamBrent

As I tend to shave my head regularly, I've decided instead to put my beloved bright blue beard that I've been growing for the last year and a half on the chopping block. I spent 13 years in the navy where facial hair was frowned upon, and before I joined, I couldn't grow facial hair to save my mother's life. When I got out, I started diligently cultivating an awesome chin of hair which I've been keeping dyed a striking shade of azure. I've purposely set the bar high, not in the hopes that I won't reach and won't have to lose my beard, but because I really think it's possible to reach $500. I figure my wife alone will donate half that for me to get rid of it. But seriously, these kids are facing the toughest challenge any of us could face, and they're doing it way too young. Let's help them out.
