I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!

A particular photo has been burnt into my mind, and it is a photo of a friend's little girl....the caption should be "It really doesn't matter what you look like to be, and to have a friend". I hate any kind of cancer, and it does affect all of us in some way, but when it is a child I can't even imagine the agony the parents go through, and all the questions they must ask themselves, as to WHY........
So with all the technology we have today, there must be someway to find a cure, so let's raise the money to make it happen in our lifetime. We have help the next generation, and the generation after that. Any child that goes thru and deals with doctors, hospitals, treatments, side affects, and the list goes on, really are the true little heros, and teach us adults so much.....
The other reason I am doing this is because I have always been interested in helping cancer clients, thru personal look, using makeup, fashion and wigs. I always said "when I got my own shop, I would do the St. Baldrick's event. I know it is really no comparison of what a cancer client goes thru, but I do respect them for their courage, and will to GET BETTER....So I am asking you to DONATE to me, to help raise the money for them.....Thank you so much.
