I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Over the past several months, Kate, Annie, and Danny, three young children who Jill and I have never even had the opportunity to meet personally, have impacted our lives in a powerful way through the internet and other indirect contacts. Kate and Annie continue their fight with childhood cancer and Danny is now resting and playing at the feet of Jesus, fully healed and healthy. While I know that this is true of Danny, it still seems gravely unfair for a child to have to walk this difficult journey. However, I also know that, while on earth, God gives each of us the opportunity to love and impact one another. As a survivor or two short bouts with leukemia, I know how it feels to be loved and supported through difficult and discouraging times. Participating in St. Baldrick's is an opportunity for me to give back to help others feel the same love and encouragement.

Please consider partnering with me on behalf of all the little children like Kate, Annie, and Danny, who deserve a chance to experience life. PEACE - Randy
