I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! In addition to solidarity with children, I am doing this to show support for my mom who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. I am unable to be with her throughout her treatment, but I can be bald with her! To top it off, my sister Meredith who is a professional stylist, has volunteered her time to shave heads at this event - including mine!

In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. If you take a moment to look around the St. Baldrick's website you will notice that they do a fantastic job getting the money into the hands of people who truly need it. In addition to supporting this great cause, your donation will give me the opportunity to support my mom who lives 2,500 miles away.

Thank you for your support!
