I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

If you've come this FAR, you can cut thru the crap if you like and go directly to DONATE for this great cause. But if need more, then read on!

OK, OK, I know, I know, many of you will be saying I'm late to the party on this one as many many friends we know have already made a great showing participating way before now...And the nerve of this guy---you gotta be kidding, Stormy is asking for money!! I mean the IRS has him personally designated in the code with his own ID classification for the results from his professional work under loss carry forwards...But my head is so damn special--Let's call it Stormy-Time! And Florence is behind me 100%. No one else I know can say they have this kind of "inside" support!

For those who know us well (aka – Stormy & Florence), I have brain cancer (she's it) and completed radiation a few years ago with the growth now in remission. It was during that time I witnessed 1st hand children with cancer, brain cancer. Taking treatments alongside them was an incredible experience. The agony, anxiety and aching fear of the parents was only exceeded by the courage, determination and encouragement coming from the smiles of the children…It made my journey, my outlook, seem so insignificant. Being 50ish at the time with my own adult children and then going through the experience with my co-patients who so young, some not even school age, was an eye opener and made such an important grand impact on me, then, now and forever.

To connect the dots for the confused, and as a matter of amusement, in addition to me being on FaceBook, my brain tumor, Florence, has her own Facebook page under her name, Florence Nightingale. My young nieces named her as sort of the answer to the story of the elephant in the living room, a way to ask about their Uncle Storm'n and Stormy’s situation without awkwardness. You see, the children have always had a special way of dealing with the subject of cancer in a positive caring feeling way much more so than adults. These kids, working so very hard to be happy, positive and joyous in the face of terrible debilitating treatments, and an uncertain outcome with so much life yet to live. So cancer and children hits at a very special connection, a bond for me, not sad or "why me" but in a positive way.

So "why them"...It shouldn't be that way, and someday it won't be that way. They were and are my champions and we lost our hair together. They were my strength when I didn't think I would need it going through my treatment. But I did and I look forward to giving up my hair again but this time voluntary and will see how much $ I can wring out of the troops of family, friends and business associates for this great cause. Florence once posted that there are 4 kinds of cancer: those who have it and know it; those who have it and don't know it; those who don't have it yet; and those who will never have it. The take-away being we are all touched by cancer and our wish is that all cancer is prevented or cured and it reaches us all in so many ways. But mostly, I wish our children to be cancer free, cured and leave it for old age. I mean they say Social Security will be gone, the healthcare overhaul, and no longer have full service at the pump so what else they can do to us! We can take it! So, Yes, I'm going back to being Bald Headed one more time! Go to my page via the Link and please make a donation by hitting the click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone.

For Corporate or Personal donations of decent size, Stormy will put on any sponsoring company/person logo hat provided for pictures at the event, you know, like winning NASCAR Driver, Professional Golfer, MVP of Super Bowl, Jockey on the Derby Winner...can you imagine the publicity. And don't fret, money from Casino's, Strip Club's, Horse Tracks, Ooops, did I say that out loud---I mean donations taken from entertainment venues and sources of all types will be accepted. Hell, I'll even take money from Politicians, Lawyers, Doctors, Brokers, Underwriters, Fed & State Govt workers, contractors, Bankers, financial advisors, accountants, mediators, arbitrators, actuaries, salesmen, expert wintesses and of course for all my retired friends who still say they are in the biz--Consultants, and then Liars and Cheats, oh already got them covered, and even Lobbyists..Jeeezz, Lobbyists? Well, they've (we've) all gotten a fair shot and share and time to share!..I am an equal opportunity opportunist and no cash money will be declined. Come join us at the NYC event. I'm sure somebody we know will be there on a Company AMEX Card that we can eat & drink on...but if you can't be there in person, make us proud with a donation. God Bless and All the Best

PS: Now I know some of you will be saying after seeing my picture that Stormy makes one hot gal...and you'd be right..so not only a great chance to catch-up and for a grand cause, but I will get "Dressed Up" if I hit some good numbers!
