I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Cirque du SoBald
That's right! I'm braving the shave again.
This year it's become more personal - cancer is closer to home.
I'm inspired to shave by the children of friends of friends-
Cade is five and has had most of a brain tumor removed, but suffered a stroke following the surgery. He is on the long road to recovery but having small victories everyday- being able to swallow, move his right hand, say "Hi Mom". His prognosis is very promising.
Madeleine is five and has a brain tumor as well. Hers is inoperable and terminal.
Shaving my head means that I can help fund research so that sometime in the near future treatments for children like Cade will be improved and more importantly discoveries made to change the prognosis entirenly for children like Madeleine.
I'm shaving in honor of Cade, Madeleine, Logan and in memory of Brielle.
I have hair and the kids still have cancer!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
