I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Stembridge Football and Cheerleading

You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! The gesture of shaving your head for a friend, teammate or loved one in support of their struggle has been imitated over the years. This sacrifice of "Social Status" by shaving your head pales in comparison to the sacrifice a Cancer patient endures, they didn't volunteer for this, their parents didn't volunteer for this. If your a freind of mine and you read this and you have kids and their healthy I expect you to participate. The hair doesn't make the man, in this case it's the lack of hair that makes the man. Consider yourself challenged!!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
