I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TeamBrent

this is the seventh year i am shaving my head to fight childhood cancer. Year One, I shaved to mirror my son Brent, who was bald at the time. Year seven....Brent has been cancer free for five years and ten months, he has had seven surgeries this past year for issues dealing with the treatment....and on St Patrick's Day my little Irish lad was told NO MORE SCANS. Doctors are done searching his body for signs of cancer. So all skies are blue.......As a cancer survivor, Brent will always have more doctors appointments than others, and I am thrilled to see the St Baldrick's Foundation expand their life saving research to include treatments for cancer survivors. I am proud to shave my head in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, I am proud to fight so that every child can live, and I am proud to shave for continued health and research so that some day, not only does no child die of cancer - but those lucky enough to beat it dont have to endure multiple surgeries a year....
